Is the front desk really made of rope?
Indeed it is. We commissioned a New York artist named Orly Genger to create the one-of-a-kind desk in our lobby. Famous for her huge “Red, Yellow & Blue” installation in Madison Square Park, Genger hand-knots discarded rope to create her sculptures, and we’re thrilled to have her work showcased here.
